Kragujevac-based company "Košutnjak inter drvo" signed the annual contract with Sweden-based company IKEA on delivery of furniture worth €1m. Kitchen elements and furniture for dining rooms, which are manufactured by this company, will be directly distributed in the IKEA furniture showrooms.

The first delivery worth €40,000 is scheduled for April 15, 2005, and it will be intended for showrooms in France.

"Košutnjak inter drvo", by the way, exports over 80% of its products to the several countries of Europe, but previous export was limited to semi-finished articles for the needs of German, Italian and Greek markets. The contract with IKEA, besides increase in export, provides higher processing level. Kragujevac-based company expects that the value of the export in 2006 will amount to €2m.
