EURATEX Launches New Project of Support to Industry of Textile, Clothing, Leather and Footwear – CCIS and University of Kragujevac One of 19 Partners
– The CCIS team is the leader of the working package which aims to promote innovations, variety and well-being of employees in the TCLF industry – says Milica Ljubojevic, the secretary of the Association for the Industry of Textile, Clothing, Leather and Footwear of the CCIS.
The project has two main goals.
– Primarily to unite Europe when it comes to the skills and retraining of the TCLF workforce, which will enable the industry to prepare for the future and for achieving a sustainable and circular economy. Then, the focus is on the lack of skills in the industry, identifying the needs for specific skills, as well as the development of new education programs for a sustainable industry – explains Ljubojevic.
AEQUALIS4TCLF gathers 19 partners, mostly from east and north Europe, which will work together over the next four years to give incentive to the professional development and retraining of workers in the TCLF industry.
The project is realized within the EU Pact for Skills, and it will be cofinanced by the European Union within the ERASMUS+ program for support to professional development and retraining within the TCLF industry.
