Satellites Albania 1 and Albania 2 Launched

The prime minister of Albania, Edi Rama, announced this Tuesday that the satellites Albania 1 and Albania 2 had been launched into space from the Cape Canaveral base in Florida.

Rama shared the footage of the moment of launching on his Facebook profile.

– Said and done. The Falcon 9 rocket, which carries our two satellites Albania 1 and Albania 2, has been launched into space – Rama said.

He added that Albania now had more possibilities of controlling and protecting its territory.

– From today, Albania has more high-tech possibilities for the control and protection of the territory, providing, in real time, important data in a range of key aspects for sustainable development – Rama said.
