At the beginning of November, at the glamorous award ceremony of The Brit List Award 2022 in London, the architectural firm ReardonSmith Architects from London, in cooperation with the Serbian firm Marquis Commerce, won the first prize in the Best in Tech category.
The advanced technical solution for air purification designed, installed and remotely managed for the luxurious The Beaumont hotel in London, was awarded by a Serbian company under the Marquis Intelligence brand.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, The Beaumont five-star hotel aimed to ensure maximum safety and comfort for its guests and employees.
The design director of ReardonSmith Architect, architect Alexander Marjanovic, presented the owners of this hotel with a new advanced air purification technology that Gordana Blagić and Vladimir Janaćković, air quality experts from Marquis Intelligence, introduced him to during the CPD (Continuing Professional Development) presentation in London. The hotel owners liked the idea. They accepted the proposal and applied the technical solution of the Belgrade firm throughout the hotel.

As part of the award-winning solution, Marquis Intelligence applied the Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD) technology of the German company Bioclimatic GmbH, with which it has been cooperating for almost two decades.
In addition to pioneering the implementation of Bioclimatic GmbH's DBD technology in the UK, Marquis Intelligence has also, for the first time ever, carried out a remote IAS implementation (installation/assistance/monitoring) of an air purification system, due to the complex global travel and business conditions during the pandemic.
The applied state-of-the-art technological solution for air purification complies with the highest health standards, building regulations, good engineering practice and the latest recommendations for the prevention of the transmission of COVID-19.
Bioclimatic GmbH premium equipment, environmentally friendly and energy efficient, was installed on all central ventilation and air conditioning systems during the reconstruction of the existing building of The Beaumont Hotel.
The Beaumont hotel in the heart of London thus became the first hotel in Great Britain with fully integrated advanced Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD) technology from Bioclimatic GmbH, and its guests and employees received impeccably clean and safe air in every corner of the hotel.
