Strengthen the Position of the Swedish Manufacturer of Construction Machinery - Belgrade "Evocon" New Distributer of the Company "Volvo"

Belgrade-based company "Evocon" became the authorized distributor of Volvo's construction machinery, it was announced today at a press conference. This company has introduced a program of cooperation with the Swedish company "Volvo Construction Equipement "(Volvo CE), that operates as part of Volvo's Group.

Director of the "Evocon", Mr. Slobodan Ilic said that the mission of his company's "best technology transfer to Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia, in the areas of construction, mining, transport, ports, airports, container terminals, manufacturing".

- The goal of "Evocon" is to increase market share by 50%, and that we intend to achieve the high level of customer care and after-sales through a developed network. For this reason, the service center will be equipped, and is opening very soon, and in late 2010. we hired 14 people - said Ilic.

The desire of "Evocon," according to Ilic, is to provide customers the lowest possible purchase price of products for which they are actively looking for a financial institution with which they will cooperate. Through this collaboration will be enabled many benefits, such as leasing and buying on credit.

The largest share of the domestic construction machinery market takes a "Caterpillar". Although no reliable data on the value of this market, last year placed a total of 102 machines, the average price of EUR 100,000.

According to the executive director of Volvo CE's Central and Eastern Europe, Mr. Thomas Schmitz, the company has been hit by the global crisis, but coming from it with a favorable business results.

Is currently in fourth place in the global market of construction machinery, with revenue of 4.7 billion U.S. dollars, or 7% market share. "Volvo CE employs 90,000 people globally, while through the distribution chain it is present in 150 countries. The company offers a complete range of machinery for construction and industrial transportation. In Central and Eastern Europe, "Volvo CE operates in 17 countries and employs about 300 people".
