Industrial Production Drops 1.6% in July 2022
However, according to the data of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, industrial production in the Republic of Serbia, in July 2022 was lower by 1.6% compared to the same month in 2021 and was lower by 2.2%, compared to 2021 average.
Seasonally adjusted index in July 2022 compared to June 2022 shows a decrease of the total industry by 2.2% and decrease of the Manufacturing section by 3.8%.
Observed by sections, in July 2022, compared to July 2021, industrial production in the Mining and quarrying section increased by 22.5%, industrial production in Manufacturing section was decreased by 3.4%, while the production in the Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply section was decreased by 5.6%.
