Delegation of Serbia at Spring Meetings of IMF

A delegation of the Republic of Serbia, led by Governor of the National Bank of Serbia and Governor of Serbia in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Jorgovanka Tabakovic, will participate in the Spring Meetings of the IMF and the World Bank Group, to be held on 18-24 April in Washington.

The Serbian delegation will hold talks with high representatives of these two financial institutions on current cooperation programmes, current trends and expectations for the coming period, according to the Government’s website.

The spring meetings will focus on issues of global financial stability in the conditions of the pandemics, geopolitical and climate change, the outlook for the world economy and financial market developments, and the challenges of economic policies in the face of increased debt and global inflation, it is added.


The Director General of the International Monetary Fund is scheduled to present the Global Policy Programme.

Representatives of the Republic of Serbia will have bilateral meetings with representatives of numerous institutions and investors, who have shown great interest in Serbia, which ranks high on the map of desirable investment destinations, according to a statement from the National Bank of Serbia.
