In accordance with the new Regulation of prices of oil derivatives passed by the Government of Republic of Serbia, which is in effect starting from December 17, 2005, Avia (www.avia.co.yu) reminded that the conditions were created for change of prices of oil derivatives in Serbia.

Total price of crude oil expresses in dinars increased by 2.1% on the basis of average exchange rate of US dollar whose dinar value for the period from the last change of price on December 12, 2005, to January 4, 2006, amounts to 72.29 CSD, whereas the average price of crude oil of type URAL, which is imported and refined in Serbia, in the same period amounted to 55.258 USD per barrel.

Practically, that means that the conditions are created for change of the highest manufacturing prices of primary oil derivatives in amount of 0.70 - 0.80 CSD per liter depending on the type, whereas retailing price should be:

DERIVATIVE PRESENT PRICE NEW PRICE

BMB 95 77.70 CSD/LIT 78.57 CSD/LIT

D2 66.10 CSD/LIT 67.07 CSD/LIT

ED 72.10 CSD/LIT 73.19 CSD/LIT

Now the Government is on move.
