Pi Network Cryptocurrency – Mining through Mobile Phone without Consumption of Battery and Internet

The Pi Network cryptocurrency is one of the first cryptocurrencies in the world mined through a mobile phone and requiring as “proof of work” only a click of a certain button every 24 hours, unlike many other cryptocurrencies, where “proof of work” entails various things, consuming huge amounts of electrical energy.

– It’s interesting that this kind of mining through a mobile phone does not consume the battery, the internet, or the processing power of the phone – notes Goran Antic.

Pi Network is a project of the Stanford University and, as such, is very transparent and already has over 12 million active users. At the moment, they are in the second phase, which will last throughout 2021, and in early 2022 they plan to join MAINNET, which will thereby launch a decentralized network of the nodes of the users themselves, instead of the servers of various institutions, and that step will mark a switch from a centralized to a decentralized use, upon which the value of Pi will start forming.

– The point of Pi is to be available to everyone and for one person to have one mobile phone, with one Pi account (unlike other computer farms, located in basements, where the greatest possible processing power of the mining is preferred). This will be ensured by the KYC (Know Your Customer) verification – Antic explains.

The standard app is available on Google Play and Apple Store, as PI NETWORK. It requires a referral from the person who invited you.

There’s also a lite version, meant for computers that intend to apply to be the future nodes through which transactions are to be carried out, thereby making additional earnings in Pi.

– Pi Network is essentially a much better cryptocurrency, primarily because its distribution is more even than bitcoin, where 1% of the users own 82% of bitcoin. Another important characteristic is that it does not consume as much energy as bitcoin, and the third characteristic, the most important one in my opinion, is that one phone is tied to one person and, with that, one profile – Antic points out and adds:

– When you go out, all you take with you is your mobile phone, which cannot be said for bitcoin and etherium computer farms, which are located in basements, which “eat up” electrical energy and which are targeted by various speculators.

Warren Buffett once said that bitcoin in fact has no value. Someone needs to invest in it so that someone else would earn from it.

– Of course, this is all still in the development phase and we will see whether Pi Network will take root and how and whether it will be able to take precedence in the still unexplored cryptocurrency market – Antic concludes.
