The Swedish owner of the flooring factory Pervanovo Invest AB is building a state-of-the-art world flooring factory, worth EUR 200 million, in Ogulin, and by 2027, when Ogulin 2 is to be fully operational, it will be the world’s largest wooden flooring factory, the company Bjelin Croatia announced.

The new factory Ogulin 2 is being built next to the current parquet flooring factory Ogulin 1 and will have a production capacity of over 20 million square meters of flooring a year. The total annual capacity of flooring production in Viken and Ogulin 2 will amount to 30 million square meters in 2027.

The new factory is being built on an area of 330,000 m2, located next to the Zagreb-Split highway.

At the high-tech, automated flooring factory, floors will be made of wooden dust, high-density fiber plates and veneer wood. The raw materials will mostly come from the wood waste from Bjelin’s factories in Ogulin, Bjelovar and Otok.
