Croatian Infobip Buys American Company for USD 300 Million

The Vodnjan-based company Infobip has bought the American company OpenMarket for USD 300 million, index.hr reports.

This is a subsidiary of AmDocs, which, just like Infobip, provides text messaging services.

– We can confirm that an agreement on the purchase of OpenMarket has been signed with the seller, AmDocs. At the moment, we are waiting for the final details, and more information will be revealed shortly – Infobip briefly confirmed for Index.

This summer, Infobip collected more than USD 200 million in the first financing round from the investment fund One Equity Partners.


Infobip was launched in 2006 as a small startup from Vodnjan, Istria. Today, it employs over 2,100 people globally and operates in 67 offices on six continents.

Last year, Infobip had an income of EUR 602 million, 38% more than a year before.
