Swiss to Temporarily Bring Nis Back on its Destinations Map
These flights are primarily meant for passengers that want to visit their friends and relatives during the holidays.
Flights from Nis are planned for Saturday, December 19, and Sunday, December 27, 2020, and Saturday, January 2, 2021.
On behalf of Swiss, the flights will be carried out by Helvetic Airways under a lease agreement.
The aircraft operating the line will be Embraer E190-E2, with a capacity of 110 passengers.
The sector director of the Constantine the Great Airport in Nis, Dusan Knezevic, expressed his satisfaction that Swiss will once again fly from the Nis Airport, and in such difficult times for the entire aviation industry at that.
He expressed hope that, starting with the next summer season, Swiss will consider the possibility of re-establishing regular air lines on the Zurich-Nis-Zurich route.
He reminded all passengers to comply with the prevention measures to the end of preventing the spreading of Covid-19 and to inform themselves in detail at the competent services about the manner and conditions of traveling to Switzerland before setting off on a trip.
