New cold storage plant opened in Turekovac near Leskovac - "Sonder-Dux" invested 3m EUR
New cold storage plant for fruits and vegetables was put in
operation today in the village of Turekovac near Leskovac. Dutch-Serbian
company "Sonder-Dux" has invested about 3m EUR in that plant.
The cold storage plant was ceremoniously opened by Slobodan Kocić , the Mayor
of Leskovac. The plant has the storage capacities of 1,500 tons, and all the
goods from this plant will be exported to the markets of European countries.
"Sonder-Dux" has given permanent employment to 12 workers, and another 90 people have been hired for seasonal works, while 180 farmers from the Leskovac region have promised to deliver their products exclusively to the cold storage plant.
