Company "Domingas" expands gas network in Belgrade's boroughs
Company "Domingas", of which primary field of work is carrying out of mechanical and construction works on construction of distributive gas networks, plans to finish measuring-regulation station and terminal gas pipeline in old Karaburma, between Jovanka Radaković Street and Ada Huja, by the end of year 2009. Consumers from that settlement will be connected to the gas network during 2010.
- There should be 4,500 gas connections in that part of Karaburma, but I think the number will be smaller because of the current economic situation. We will try to satisfy the needs of the consumers by providing credit lines and by lowering the price of individual connection to the gas pipeline – Aleksandar Predragović, the CEO of "Domingas", told "eKapija".
In October 2008, "Domingas" bought company "Stankom Gas", of which name was then changed into "Beogas". According to the words of Predragović, restructuring of the company is in progress, so that it is expected that "Domingas" and "Beogas" will merge and operated under the name of "Beogas".
- We expect to receive permit for construction of 110 km of gas network in Jajinci and Kumodraž by the end of the year. We are currently waiting for energy licenses for the left side of the Danube in Palilula where we are now tombing the terrain and selecting the routes - Predragović announced.
He says that he expects that the networks in Voždovac, Palilula and Čukarica will be expanded as well.
- Construction of 5-10 km of the network in Čukarica is in the pipeline. There are 8,800 connections in that borough at the moment, while the project anticipates 35,000 connections - said Predragović.
He pointed out that "Domingas" wanted to establish cooperation with some marketing agency in order to implement planned projects.
