Mining-ironworks Basin, factory for obtaining oxygen, sold to "Messer Tehnogas' for 2.5 million US Dollars.

Factory for obtaining oxygen, belonging to Mining-ironworks Basin (MIB) Bor, was sold at an auction to a German company 'Messer', at a price of 2.5 million US dollars, said the site of Bor copper mill yesterday (21/06/2009).

As it was stated, the buyer is obliged not to change the activities of Bor factory in the next 10 years, and that they will provide continual delivery of technical gases necessary for functioning of MIB Bor during that period.

According to the statements, Messer is one of the biggest producers of technical gases in the world, and they obliged themselves to invest 1.1 million US dollars, at least, to improve the production process of oxygen obtaining plant.
