Chinese SINO-RS interested in forming investment fund for financing of projects in Serbia
The projects would be realized with the support of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, he said in a conversation with the members of the National Council for the Coordination of Cooperation with Russia and China.
The meeting was attended by the president of the council, Tomislav Nikolic, and members: Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic, Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic, Minister of Mining and Energy Aleksandar Antic and representatives of the ministries of finance and agriculture.
Jin Frank Li pointed out that Serbia was a friendly country to China and one of the more important states for the realization of the global Chinese initiative One Belt, One Road, the National Council announced.
It was pointed out that the president and the members of the National Council welcomed the idea of the realization of projects with China trough public-private partnerships, and not through the usual credits, in principle.
It was agreed that the realization of projects in Serbia in cooperation with Chinese partners though the Investment Fund needed to take into account the legal framework in Serbia and that the support of the state was very important for the realization of such projects.
