Banca Intesa has begun an all-encompassing process of digital transformation in which it will invest more than EUR 65 million by the end of 2021.

As a requirement for digitalization, the bank has initiated a program of modernization of the entire information platform, which will enable it to include modern products in its offer, thereby further increasing the quality of its service.

As Banca Intesa says, this bank will be the first one in the Serbian market to implement full online realization of cash credits of up to EUR 5,000 and overdraft on current account by using mobile tokens, without the need to visit the nearest branch office. Both services will be made available to the bank’s clients in early May.

Parallel to the process of digitalization, Banca Intesa has also started transforming its network by implementing the distribution model of its parent group, Intesa Sanpaolo. The aim of this initiative is to upgrade the bank’s service model by implementing a new concept of working with clients, which will result in improved user experience.

As part of this initiative, the bank also plans to create self-service zones in its branch offices, entailing an increased number of ATMs and daily takings payment devices, which will be available to clients 24 hours a day.
