Government of Serbia to abolish part of unemployment insurance fee?
The cause lies in the fact that the National Employment Service had a surplus of RSD 3.1 billion last year, according to the financial report published on the NES website.
Revenues from unemployment insurance fees, according to the report, amounted to around RSD 20 billion.
As Politika reports, these revenues make up more than two thirds of the NES budget, as the service's total revenues amounted to RSD 28 billion in 2016.
The law prescribes that the NES should use this money to pay the fees in case of unemployment.
