Chinese to build TPP Gacko 2 – Agreement worth half a billion euros signed
In addition to this agreement, the minister signed a general agreement on long-term cooperation in realizing strategic investment projects with China Africa Investment and Development Co.
Djokic said that the construction of TPP Gacko 2, worth around BAM 1 billion (around half a billion euros), with at least around 300 MW of installed power, was planned.
– The coordinating body, the formation of which is envisaged by the agreement, will continue the analysis of all the parameters necessary for making investment decisions, that is, the assessment of previously estimated coal reserves in the area, the value of the equipment necessary for carrying out the project and raising the facility – Djokic added.
The signing of the agreement was attended by Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Zeljka Cvijanovic, Director General of Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske Zeljko Kovacevic, Executive Director of Rudnik and TPP Gacko Srdjan Milovic and representatives of the Chinese companies.
