Serbian Railways to borrow EUR 36.7 million for Sicevo-Dimitrovgrad section – Public invitation for interested contractors opens

The company Serbian Railways Infrastructure will borrow EUR 36.7 million from the European Investment Bank (EIB) for the purpose of the project of reconstruction of the Sicevo-Dimitrovgrad section of the Nis-Dimitrovgrad-state border railway with 80 km in length.

The project has been estimated at EUR 84 million.

The project will also require the procurement of goods, as well as contracting the works and consulting services.

The construction works in question pertain to railway crossings and railway stations, electrical engineering works on the telecommunications equipment and signalization, as well as services of planning, supervising (FIDIC engineer) and technical control of the works.

The procurement will be carried out in line with the EIB procedure for the works financed by the bank and will be open to all companies, regardless of the country of origin, and interested suppliers, contractors and consultants have been invited to contact the Serbian Railways Infrastructure.
