The Vranje-based company PK Yumco is planning to open a new facility in Bujanovac in which 50 reclassified workers will be employed.

MP and local leader of the Serbian Progressive Party in Bujanovac, Nenad Mitrovic, said that the three-month training of potential workers will start on February 1.

If Yumco later decides to organize work in two shifts, and additional 50 qualified people will be needed.

The Vranje company announced earlier that the increased amount of work, thanks to agreements for 2017, would create the possibility of new employments, but also of salary raises. The trend of profitable operations continued in 2016, and the biggest jobs are related to the Serbian armed forces and the police.

Yumco has already contracted jobs for 2018 as well, which will create the need for hiring subcontractors, so that large production lines wouldn't be stopped due to series of below 100 products.
