IKEA paying RSD 140,000 to Serbian employees' pension funds
– We want to show our employees how much we value their loyalty and their contribution to the success of IKEA. We are doing this through the Tack! program – stated CEO of IKEA for Southeast Europe, Stefan Vanoverbeke, and expressed his satisfaction over the IKEA Group's payment of the gross amount of RSD 140,349 to the private pension fund of each employee in Serbia.
Ever since Tack! was initiated three years ago, a total of EUR 413 million has been set aside for the program. The amount, set aside on a global level, is distributed to all the member-countries of the IKEA Group in line with the proportional share of any given country in the total earnings, and the pre-requirement for financing the program is for the IKEA Group to have reached its business goals.
As a part of this unique loyalty program, an additional amount is paid each year to the pension fund of the IKEA Group employees, defined by a just and simple principle.
Each employee of the IKEA Group in Serbia who has spent five or more years at IKEA stands to receive the identical amount, regardless of the work position or the salary band, the report adds.
