Investments in 2015 increase by 5,4%

Generated investments in Serbia in 2015 are higher by 5.4% than in the previous year, while generated investments in basic funds have shown increase in 2015, compared to previous year, by 6.2%, according to the results of the annual survey .

According to the survey "Investments in basic funds", observed by regions, 56.5% of investments were implemented in Belgrade region, 24.5 in the region of Vojvodina, 10.3 in the region of Sumadija and Western Serbia and 8.7 percent in the South and Eastern Serbia, the Serbian Bureau of statistics informed.Observed by sectors, the largest share in the Republic of Serbia in implemented investments in basic funds were recorded in the manufacturing sector (21.2%), electricity, gas and water supply (11.9%), professional, scientific and technical activities (11.2%), information and communication sector (10.4%) and in the sector of wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles (8.5%), it was stated.
