South Korean investors interested in Serbia
Vucic congratulated ambassador Lee on being appointed as adviser to the president of South Korea, Park Geun-hye, and thanked him for having used his diplomatic experience to contribute to improving bilateral relations of Serbia and South Korea.
The Serbian prime minister expressed his hope that Ambassador Lee would continue to work in favor of cooperation between the two countries in his new position as well, the Government of Serbia reported on its website.
Ambassador Lee expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Vucic and the government for the support and the all-encompassing cooperation during his mandate in Serbia. He congratulated the prime minister on remaining dedicated to carrying out reforms and pointed out that an increasing number of South Korean companies realized the possibilities provided by the Serbian economy and were becoming interested in terms of investment.
Serbia's advancements on the road to Europe have also contributed to this, as has the consistent policy of regional stability and cooperation, which makes Serbia the key country in the Western Balkans region, Ambassador Lee said.
Vucic thanked Ambassador Lee on having contributed to reopening the Belgrade office of the KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency), as it provided strong support to the mutual trade.
– Serbia wants as many South Korean investors to come here, as our country is a good example of how hard work and discipline can lead to the advancement of the society – Vucic said to Lee.
