According to the June report of the World Bank (WB) called “Global Economic Prospects”, the GDP of Serbia will grow by 1.8% in the current year, which matches the January projection, whereas in 2017 it will grow by 2.3%, which is larger by 0.1 percentage point relative to the January projection.

The WB projects a 3.5% growth of Serbia's GDP in 2018, which is what it projected at the beginning of this year.

At the same time, the WB has revised down the forecast for the global economic growth for 2016, which will, according to the latest projections, grow by only 2.4% this year.
