Productivity in "Impol Seval" 8.1 times bigger - year 2007 as one of the most successful years in history of Užice-based company

production of about 64,000 tons this year, which is 33% more than in 2006 - said
the CEO of that company Ninko Tešić.
He pointed out that year 2007 was one of
the most successful years in the 32-year history of that company judging by both
production and financial effects.
- All investments from the previous three-four years, in amount of 34.5m EUR, gave results this year and enabled broadening of production assortment and quintupled production in comparison with the pre-privatization period, while the productivity of work was 8.1 times bigger - Tešić points out.
Aluminum mill will enter year 2008 with an ambitious plan for production of 74,500 tons of aluminum and new phase of investment cycle, which will include implementation of the first part of project "Production of compressed products". This project includes enlargement of casting capacities for production of logs. Works on revitalization of certain production lines are also in the pipeline.
The Aluminum mill exported about 95% of production to west European market and it is one of the leading export companies in Serbia.
Company "Impol" from Slovenska Bistrica became the majority owner of Aluminum mill five years ago. At that time, according to the estimates of the Privatization Agency authorized auditors, this company fulfilled all obligations from the social program stipulated by the sales contract.
CEO Ninko Tešić got prestigious annual award from the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia for great results in field of development and improvement of economy.
