Panasonic to introduce production of injected plastics in Svilajnac - Company to get 2,5 ha of construction land for department production

According to him, municipality will give 2.5 hectares of land more to Panasonic in the industrial zone "Veliko polje" where the plant is located now for expansion.

- Panasonic is very important for Svilajnac when it comes to hiring workers, but also for funds it pours in municipal budget which is app. RSD 20 m annually – Milanovic reminded.

Company started production in Svilajnac in January 2011 with 14 employees, now it employs 390 while with production of injection plastic it will hire 110 workers more.

According to the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Sumadija and Pomoravlje in Kragujevac in 2015 Panason is third in exports, and the first in Pomoravlje.

Thanks to exports Panasonc lighting devices Serbia, last year, Svilajnac made surplus in foreign trade with the world of about USD 30 m.
