Agricultural exports at USD 2.85 billion in 2015

Miroslav Miletic, the vice chairman of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, said today that agricultural exports from Serbia in 2015 reached USD 2.85 billion, while imports in that field were half that value - at USD 1.4 billion.

- This ratio would be even better if the structure of exports was dominated by final products and the structure of imports by only what is necessary for the production chain- Miletic stressed in his speech on the "Future of the Serbian Agriculture" at NIN Focus.

According to him, the estimated value of agricultural production in Serbia is close to USD 6.6 billion, while its real potential is about USD 10 billion.
