Second furnace at Zelezara Smedervo to start operating - October 9 to see the start

As specified on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, putting into pre-operation of high furnace will start while a day later the first operation will be carried out and 10 to 15 days production will stabilize.

Smederevo-based steel plant expects maximal operating capacities on the facility of 75.000 tons per month.

Executive Manager of managerial team at HPK engineering, Peter Kamaras said that he is proud of the fact that 80% of the overhaul on high furnace 1 has been done by employees of Zelezara Smederevo themselves.
