In half a year 137 new electric power plants in Croatia
(Illustration) There are 1.207 electric power plants driven by
renewable energy sources in Croatia with total installed power of 430 megawatts
(MW), Croatian Poslovni dnevnik reported.
As communicated, in the next period, the plan is to put into operation 138 facilities
more with total power of 502 MW.
In only six months this year, the country got 137 electric power planned with
total installed power of 18,286 MW.
Electrical system of Croatia since the end of January got 130 solar electric power
plants, one hydro power plant and three biomass and bio gas driven electric
power plants.
The first ranked when it comes to renewable energy sources in Croatia, when it comes to installed power, are 16 wind energy facilities with total power of 339,250 MW, while the second ranked ones are 1.115 solar power plants with total capacity of 40,391 MW.
Biogas-driven electric power plants are third ranked when it comes to co-generative facilities with total power of 15,934 MW.
The number of electric power plants which have not been put into operation yet as of the end of January this year was 280, with total installed power of 494,237 MW.
The biggest number among them goes to wind power plants, 13 of them, then 25 biomass-drive electric power plants and 15 biogas electric power plants.
