16 candidates interested in Telekom
A total of 16 companies and funds is interested in privatization of Telekom Srbija. This is the number which, as Novosti unofficially found out, which sent their letters of interest i.e. non-obliging offers at the address of the Agency for privatization.
The minister of trade, tourism and telecommunication, Rasim Ljajic yesterday said that the Working group in the next two week will analyze all delivered offers and suggest qualified bidders.
The working group comprising ministers will after August 17 suggest qualified offers and after that companies which remain interested will deliver specific offers.
It has not been communicated which companies sent their offers. Apart from investment funds, unofficially, Deutsche Telekom, Telekom Austria, as well as a few USA-based companies have done it.
