Delta is pouring EUR 50 m for development of fruit and vegetable growing at the south of Serbia
Delta is planning to pour EUR 50 m in development of fruit and vegetable growing and at the south of Serbia. The plan is to plant it on 1.000 ha, similar to the one Delta already has when it comes to apple plantations in Agrar and which is the biggest orchard in southeast Europe.
At this moment, they contacted with local authorities in Leskovac and they are
planning the next contact to set up with city authorities in Vranje.
As the company announced, in the harvest of barley and wheat at the plantations of Delta Agrar, record results have been achieved which near biological maximum which these plants can reach. In the finished harvest on 5 plantations, they reached an average yield of barley of 8,01 tons per hectare and 8,15 t/Ha of wheat.
