Messenger now available to non-Facebook users

By entering your full name and phone number and sharing the profile photo, users worldwide are given access to Facebook Messenger. This option can already be used in the USA, Canada, Peru and Venezuela, and it will soon be made available in the rest of the world as well.
Experts believe that this move will definitely help Facebook attract those who want to avoid setting up a profile on this popular social media network, the web portal wired.com reports.
- Thanks to the new option, more people can enjoy what Messenger has to offer, including sharing photos, videos, group chatting, regular and video calls - Facebook said in a release.
This company has recently made it possible for its users to hide their location if they want to. Early this month, Messenger got its first game - Doodle Draw.
