EU halts payment of EUR 20 million to Serbia?
This was told to the daily Blic by several sources in Belgrade and Brussels who also stressed that by making that move, the EC actually "gave a yellow card to the Serbian government".
This "card" could turn red, that is, Serbia could be deprived of all EU IPA grants totaling about EUR 200 million a year, if the Government in Belgrade fails to urgently improve the way it works.
On the other hand, Serbian Minister for EU Integration Jadranka Joksimovic claims in a statement to Blic that there is no reason to panic.
