Russian company Kronstadt offers to work with Serbian companies

Russian company Kronstadt, which specializes in the production of modern industrial equipment for use in the energy sector and oil and gas industry, is interested in boosting cooperation with Serbian companies, representatives of this company announced Friday (19 June 2015) in the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC).

Kronstadt is a Russian company with headquarters in Saint Petersburg and branch offices in the USA, Germany and China, and they plan to open an office in Serbia too.

Kronstadt exists for as many as 20 years and specializes in the production of modern industrial equipment for the energy sector, oil and gas industry, shipbuilding, chemical industry, construction and mining, its representatives pointed out on the SCC premises.

The company is specialized for the exportation of various kinds of equipment in all these industries with its main product being pumps which account for 20 to 50% of Krostandt's exports.

What is specific about this company is that it makes all products to order.

Most of Kronstadt's employees are technical experts and engineers.

Representatives of the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) expressed interest at the meeting on the SCC premises in working with Russia's Kronstadt, especially in the field of compressors and pumps, stressing that they already had some concrete proposals for cooperation.

Ljubisa Obradovic, the secretary of the Association for Metal and Electric Industry of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, invited Kronstadt to help the revival of industry in Serbia explaining that industrialization was strategically important for our country.

He voiced his expectation that the Russian company would manage to find business partners in Serbia.
