Construction of 76 apartments for refugees in Pančevo’s Strelište

The Mayor of Pančevo, Srđan Miković, and attaché for trade issues of the Embassy of Italy to Belgrade, Tomas Bosios, have opened the building site for 76 apartments for refugees in Strelište, which will be built according to the Program for residence and permanent integration of refugees - SIRP.
Construction of these apartments, with 1m EUR, is financed by Italian Government. The project for construction of apartments in Pančevo started in mid-2005 with the signing of the Memorandum of understanding by UN Habitat and Municipality of Pančevo.
Attache Tomas Bosios said that Italian Government was the greatest investor in Serbia, because it has invested 200m EUR since 2000.
