Additional modernization at the Oil Refinery in Pancevo completed – NIS poured RSD 1,9 billion
The Oil Industry of Serbia (NIS) successfully ended the additional modernization of refinery capacities in Pancevo which it implemented within the planned overhaul which lasted September 1-30. It will enable the Refinery of Pancevo increased derivatives production, increase production processes efficiency and provide more reliable functioning of refinery facilities, NIS announced.
All the activities during additional modernization at the Oil Refinery of Pancevo were fully compliant with European and domestic environmental regulations. Total value of current maintenance and investments during the overhaul totaled nearly RSD 1,9 billion.
After implementation of a number of investment projects during the past month at the Oil Refinery Pancevo, stable and increased diesel, jet fuel and gasoline of top quality standard euro 5 production was enabled. Our company is this way ready to answer increased market needs in EU for quality oil derivative; it was stated in the announcement.
