Tigar Tyres opens new mixing department in Pirot - Investment cycle of EUR 215 m ends

Today, Michelin Group and its company in Serbia - Tigar Tyres have officially opened new mixing facility which provides full plant capacity in Pirot, thanks to an investment project totaling EUR 215 m which started in 2013. Thus, the plant increased production to 12 million passenger tires a year , while the number of employees is 3,000.

The latest technology used provides flexible business model which will adapt to market needs . At the same time, it significantly improves production process, maintenance , planning and quality management.

.- An investment of EUR 215 m at Tigar Tyres is a kind of modernization of the factory and the basis for production capacity boost - Erik Feidi , president Michelin for Central and Southeast Europe said.
