Ralph Zigerlig appointed as CEO of Carlsberg Serbia
Ralph Zigerlig, former vice president of business development for western Europe at Carlsberg Group, the world's fourth largest brewery, is the new CEO of Carlsberg Serbia Group. He officially assumed the position of Director General at that company, which operates in Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina, on January 1st, Carlsberg announced.
Zigerlig has acquired knowledge and skills while working for more than fifteen years in various leading positions in commercial, financial and marketing divisions of large international companies engaged in the production of consumer goods, such as Nestle, Gate Gourmet and Procter & Gamble, in the Near East, Scandinavia, Spain and Switzerland.
Ralph Zigerlig graduated from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, earning a Master's degree in international finance and accounting. He also earned an MBA from the London Business School and the New York University of Colombia in 2008.
Carlsberg Director General for Southeast Europe Gabor Bekefi, who was also acting CEO of Carlsberg Serbia Group in the previous period, will now be able to completely dedicate himself to the company's operations in the region.
