Joyous start of season for Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra - Four concerts with babies

New concert season for the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra has never started so joyfully. For the first time this institution has organized concerts for babies. Instead of one scheduled concert, the Orchestra performed four free concerts and introduced toddlers into the world of classical music, before many of them had even taken their first step, the Philharmonic said.

The Belgrade Philharmonic lobby looked completely different because it was transformed into a “parking lot” for scores of baby carriages and its concert hall became a music playground.

The youngest visitor was Stefan, only 23-days old.
The Orchestra performed the Lullaby Symphony and proved that even the youngest could enjoy classical music if it was presented to them in the right way, while the musicians were awarded with vibrant applause and singing. The Philharmonic members confessed that those were the most beautiful concerts in their careers and they looked forward to new concert dates in January and April 2019, and promised even more shows to come, the Philharmonic stated.
