Temporarily unfollow Facebook friends with Snooze
Towards the end of last week, Facebook launched a new option – Snooze – which lets users unfollow friends, brands or groups for up to 30 days.
The company says that the new option is meant to enable users to have greater control over their News Feed.
For example, if your friend has just returned from a long trip and is uploading too many photos every day, boasting about their traveling experience, or if they are constantly uploading images of their new car, you can now simple check the Snooze option, available in the top right of a post. They will not know they've been temporarily unfollowed, and the option can be switched off at any time if you wish to do so.
