Seven buyers fromnDenmark, Hungary, Russia and Serbia interested in PIK Becej
According to the president of the Nezavisnost Trade Union, Aleksandar Pesic, a letter of ineterst was submitted only by Almex as well as Miodrag Kostic and Petar Matijevic.
Pesic says for RTV Vojvodina that Matijevic, who on Friday, November 20, 2015, visited with associates all PIK departments offered EUR 35 m with a commitment to hire 700 people which was rejected since it would imply that the same number of people would lose jobs.
As of Sunday, PIK is expecting visit of representatives of Almex company as well as Miodrag Kostic with associates.
Estimated value of PIK Bečej is EUR 85 m and the opinion of the Board of trustees, made in October, is that the Combine can be sold only as one unit, not partially which was, as Pesic says, supported by the Government of Serbia.
Property of PIK Bečej will be offered at auction scheduled for December 17 .
