Delta Holding pours EUR 58 m in 2015 - Investments in agricultural sector and new office building underway

(Future look of new office building of Delta) This year, Delta Holding is planning to invest EUR 58 mi in agriculture and construction of new office building in Novi Beograd. Dejan Jeremic, Executive VP at Delta Holding said at the media conference.

As he explained, EUR 33 m will be invested in Delta Agrar, EUR 29,25 in primary production (fruit and vegetables growing - EUR 12,73 m, farming - EUR 9 m, cattle breeding -EUR 7,52 m), Florida Bel - EUR 0,26 m, EUR 1, 32 – Danubius, and EUR 2,01 in Yuhor.

UA total of EUR 25 m will be invested in new office building of Delta Holding next to the Crowne Plaza" hotel.

He added Delta Holding is planning to build another endowment, this time in Kragujevac where the Center for sports and rehabilitation of the disabled will be set up. It was announced that the construction could start in April or May this year.

According to Miroslav Miskovic, president of Delta Holding, if the company gets construction permits, investments could be greater.

- Funds are ready and we are ready to start construction 30 days after getting the permits.

This goes for a shopping mall in Autokomanda, mentioned new office building of Delta Holding, high-category hotel and an office building next to it, at the location between Delta’s building and Hyatt in Novi Beograd. 8.000 and10.000 construction workers would be engaged in works.

A total of EUR 200 m was planned for Delta Planet, EUR 25 m for new office building in Block 19 and ERU 110 m for the hotel and office building in Block 20.

Jeremic said that they have been negotiating with Intercontinental Hotel Group and it is possible that the new hotel will operate under their brand.

According to business results, 2014 was the most successful year for Delta Holding since the economic crisis broke out until today. In 2014, Delta paid EUR 90,5 m into the budget of the Republic of Serbia and export in agricultural sector increased by 45% compared to 2013, reaching EUR 53 m.

- We expect that in 2015, increase of EBITDA will reach EUR 62 m, which is an increase of 18, 23% compare to 2014. We are planning export of EUR 75 m–Jeremic said.
