6.Description of the contract:
The purpose of this contract is the construction of intermodal terminal in Batajnica in the vicinity of Belgrade as part of the future logistic centre on pan-European corridor X. Intermodal terminal will contribute to greater multimodality and better interconnections with other transport modes from road to rail and will represent implementation of competitive and eco-friendly transport solutions.
Intermodal terminal will consist of several functional parts including: road and rail accesses, transhipment tracks, truck loading/unloading and passing lanes, handling and storage areas, buildings for terminal operator, customs authority and parking spaces for road freight vehicles.
