Index Health, Local Founder’s Startup, Raises Investment of USD 6 Million in Miami

A startup of the local founder Luka Ivicevic, Index Health from Miami, which offers telemedicine services based on personalized patient data, has raised USD 6 million in a seed investment round.

Luka Ivicevic, one of the founders of the Berlin-Belgrade-based startup Penta, now has a new venture. It is called Index Health and it was co-founded by Luka with Gabriel Holbach in Miami. The startup provides solutions in the domain of telemedicine and has just secured a seed investment of USD 6 million.

The startup with the seat in Miami offers to its users data-based personalized approach to medical treatment, with the help of laboratory tests and specialized staff. On this occasion, CEO Luka Ivicevic stated for the TechCrunch portal:

– With Root Cause Medicine, we collect 1,000+ data-points using advanced lab tests, to make the most precise overview of why a disease is occurring in an individual’s body. Based on this data, we make a treatment that’s personalized for them and their condition.

The USD 6 million seed round was co-led by LAUNCHub Ventures and Inovo Venture Partners, and Index Health will use these funds to hire specialized medical professionals, engineering talent and expand its network of clients across the U.S.
