London-Belgrade startup Wingman Ai has raised a seed investment of EUR 900,000 for the development of a technology which applies deep learning and image processing in eSports, Startit reports.

Wingman AI was formed from the local startup Propeller AI and the London-based team Vaix.

In the past year, Ivan Goloskokovic, a co-founder and the head engineer at Wingman, and his Belgrade team have traveled the road from having their own startup, through carrying out jobs for clients, to partnering with a foreign team. Although they remained within the fields of deep learning and computer vision throughout it all, the projects they worked on were quite different from each other. With their startup, they've gone through the usual process of seeking a product/market fit.

They continue their operations as a single entity with the London-based team, Startit reports.
