The Assembly of the City of Jagodina decided to sell the Acqua park, the president of the Assembly, Dragan Markovic has said.
- We decided to sell the Aqua park. It is one of the first aqua parks in Serbia. This way we will get the funds which we can use for something – Markovic said at the meeting of the Assembly of the City.
He estimated that the city will this way earn twice more than it was invested in the park construction.
Jagodina-based Aqua park was opened in 2007. It occupies five hectares, it has seven pools, one Olympic, roller coasters 600 m long, six restaurants. The park also has water requisites, futsal courts, basketball, handball, volleyball and table tennis playgrounds.
Markovic said Jagodina will still have the Aqua park because “whoever buys it, he will not take it to his country or a town, the park stays here.”
