This spring Belgrade got another hotel. Today, in a well-known Savamala, Jump Inn hotel which opened its door in early March was officially opened.
Located in the building built I 1924, which is under the protection of the state, a four-star hotel became a symbol of this part of the capital which is living a true Renaissance. This building, was designed by the Russian emigrant, Nikolai Vasiljev, known for the Military museum project at Kalemegdan. In its new suit, the building is undergoing a new youth period so passengers comment it is unbelievable it was invisible to that extent.
- Now it is visible how nice the building is really and its façade unique – Belgrade citizens say.
The Jump Inn hotel, at the corner of Zagrebacka and Karađordjeva, is a part of the Triple Jump group, whose founder is an ex Yugoslav triple jump Olympic athlete, Milan Spasojevic. This is where the inspiration for the name came from - jump into a hotel.
- We wanted that the hotel contributes to global idea of reviving Savamala with its design and functionality, with modern facilities in monumental old building – General Manager of Jump Inn, Sanja Todorovic, has said today at the official hotel opening.
And really, rooms are comfortable and simply drag your attention to have a rest there. Beds are comfortable; rooms are well-lit, with high ceilings which may not be specific for hotels, really spacious bathrooms. Apart from that, all rooms have smart TV where you can connect your mobile devices.
The hotel has a total of 49 accommodation units with specific configuration due to features of the building where architects and designers had to fit into. Unique furniture, specially designed for Jump Inn, is what makes it extraordinary. Beo design was in charge for project and design.
- Since it is a cultural monument, we could not do some serious reconstruction or to make some big changes in the facility organization. We fit into the existing capacities so we designed every room in a different way because almost each is of different dimensions. Projecting and design lasted for two years - Milos Jeremic from Beo design says for ekapija
