Capitol Park shopping center was ceremoniously opened Thursday (3 April 2014) in Sabac, it was confirmed at the official website of that city.
This shopping center is situated on a site next to the bypass, in the vicinity of roads to Sabac, Loznica and Sremska Mitrovica. The British investor, the Poseidon Group company, invested in excess of EUR 9 milllion in the first phase, thus making it possible to hire over 150 workers.

On a land lot covering about 27,000 square meters, there are 9,688 square meters of space for rent, that is, 17 outlets ranging in size from 109 to 3,000 square meters. The shopping center has 395 free parking places, and it is also easily accessible to those taking public transportation to get there as a bus stop is located in front of the facility.

Sabac Mayor Milos Milosevic congratulated to everyone who participated in the construction and equipping of the facility on the excellent job. He also wished success and good profit to all those whose work is just starting.

- Sabac was known as a center of trade back in the 19th century, and it has kept that status until today. Capitol Park Sabac will introduce new quality to trade, and that is the availability of products of world-famous brands at affordable prices. By providing support to the investor, Sabac gained precious experience in the permitting process - Milos Milosevic pointed out.

According to James Gunn, the director of Poseidon Group, the new facility was built and opened in nine months, which speaks volumes about efficient cooperation with the local self-government in Sabac.
