No shopping center at Autokomanda? - Backup plan for Delta Planet calls for construction of two shopping malls in the region

Delta Holding had plans to start the construction of Delta Planet Shopping Mall at Autokomanda in Belgrade in 2014. However, if the Belgrade-based company fails to get all necessary permits, they will need to move to Plan B.

- I am not sure we will get all the papers we need to start building Delta Planet in which we planned to invest EUR 200 million, but we are preparing a backup plan. Instead of opening a shopping mall in Belgrade, we will build 2 shopping centers in the region - Delta Holding President Miroslav Miskovic told a press conference today.

Given that it is necessary to do the conversion of land use rights for certain part of the land lot at Autokomanda, Delta awaits the adoption of the Law on Spatial Planning and Development which should resolve the issue of conversion of rights of land use to rights of land ownership.

As announced earlier, Delta Plant on a surface area of 200,000 square meters should offer customers 250 outlets and minimum 50 completely new brands in the Serbian market.
